Coach Application Process
All Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Goalie Coaches are required to complete these 3 steps to apply
Step #1
Take the Respect in Sport Activity Leader Certification course.
Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders
This certification must be renewed every 4 years.
Step #2
Obtain a Police Information Check (PIC). A PIC is required for ALL coaches. A PIC is valid for 3 years, and will expire on May 31, of the third year. Mavericks Hockey will keep a digital copy of your Police Check on file, and will also update this information in the Hockey Canada Registry, which will link directly to your eHockey account. If you do not know if your police information check is still valid, please login to your eHockey account. You will need a Volunteer Organization Letter from Mavericks Hockey to apply for your PIC. Contact the administrator at admin@maverickshockey.ca for your PIC letter.
Step #3
Complete the Mavericks Hockey Coach Application Form.
